Preclinical trials indicate that a drug candidate called OxaliTex can stop the growth of cancer cells completely. New research from a team of scientists in Australia finds that the second ‘booster' dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine did not increase vaccine efficacy against severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS-CoV-2), the causative agent of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The results suggest one dose of the vaccine was sufficient in providing a robust immune response 11 days after inoculation.
Acurian announced today that it has been granted EU privacy certification from TRUSTe, the leading Internet privacy and security assurance program. TRUSTe will provide Acurian with third-party privacy claims and dispute resolution services, which will allow Acurian to broaden its patient recruitment and retention services in Europe.
