Merck announces FDA acceptance of supplemental Biologics License Application for KEYTRUDA

Merck, known as MSD outside the United States and Canada, today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has accepted for standard review a new supplemental Biologics License Application for KEYTRUDA, Merck's anti-PD-1 therapy, as adjuvant therapy in the treatment of patients with resected, high-risk stage III melanoma and granted a Prescription Drug User Fee Act, or target action, date of February 16, 2019.

Pivotal trial data of zalutumumab in refractory head and neck cancer patients presented at ASCO 2010

Genmab A/S announced today that data from the pivotal trial of zalutumumab in refractory head and neck cancer patients will be presented today at the 2010 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting, which will be held June 1-8 in Chicago, Illinois. This is the first controlled study to demonstrate that an EGFr-targeted antibody given as monotherapy induces a clinically meaningful improvement in progression free survival in patients with refractory head and neck cancer who have failed platinum-based chemotherapy.

RhoGDI2 protein helps prevent bladder cancer metastasis to the lungs
