SynCardia Systems, Inc. announced today that the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), led by Stuart W. Jamieson, M.B., F.R.C.S. (photo), Head of Cardiothoracic Surgery, will begin certification to implant the SynCardia temporary Total Artificial Heart.
