The World Health Organisation (WHO) says as of the 5th of May 2009, 21 countries have now officially reported 1,490 cases of influenza A (H1N1) infection (swine flu).
Investigators at Hospital for Special Surgery have identified a new mechanism involved in the pathogenesis of inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis.
"This report demonstrates the anti-religious, anti-parent, and anti-family bias of Planned Parenthood's approach to children," stated Emmett McGroarty, Director of Preserve Innocence, an initiative of the American Principles Project focused on protecting the innocence of children. In what researchers state is the first pilot clinical trial to assess the effects of resveratrol on pain severity and levels of inflammatory biomarkers in patients with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis, the scientists compared treatment with a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug combined with either resveratrol or placebo over 90 days.
