Now, scientists at Virginia Commonwealth University Massey Cancer Center and VCU Institute of Molecular Medicine (VIMM) have identified a novel interaction between a microRNA and a gene that could lead to new therapies for the most common and deadly form of brain tumor, malignant glioma.
The Cedars-Sinai Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute has established the medical center's first accredited Complex Surgical Oncology Fellowship program, joining an elite group of 16 U.S. hospitals that have received accreditation for this type of training from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, a premier evaluator of physician education programs.
The American Medical Association (AMA) today announced support for concurrent passage of H.R. 3962 and H.R. 3961, U.S. House of Representatives health system reform bills.
