The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. announced today the official kick-off to National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with special promotions to support breast cancer research. On Wednesday, October 7, Bon-Ton will hold a "Shop for a Cure" one-day shopping event. The Company will donate 1% of all purchases made on its proprietary credit card on October 7 to fund breast cancer research.
Between 11 percent and 20 percent of U.S. teens are estimated to own T-shirts or other merchandise featuring an alcohol brand, and those who do appear more likely to transition through the stages of drinking from susceptibility to beginning drinking to binge drinking, according to a report in the March issue of Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine.

The database was intended to be "open to hospitals and nursing homes when they hire staff and want to run a background check.
