MOCON declares quarterly cash dividend

MOCON, Inc. announced today that on February 17, 2011, its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of ten cents ($0.10) per share, payable on May 20, 2011, to shareholders of record on May 6, 2011. This is a five percent increase over the previous rate of nine and one-half cents per share.

Emergency angioplasty (balloondilation of the coronary vessel) is the preferred treatment for patients with an acute heart attack. Because of its limited availability worldwide, the majority of patients who are admitted to the hospital with a heart-attack are treated with clot-lysing drugs (thrombolysis).
