Principio Inc., a privately held emerging company developing novel molecular imaging agents and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for the treatment of cancer, today announced that the Company has obtained an exclusive license to several technologies developed at Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Reuters reports: "Efforts to overhaul the U.S. healthcare system and expand coverage to millions of uninsured could lead some wellness programs to expand and others to constrict, experts say.... In all of the bills in Congress, insurers would be required to cover some preventive services, and all of the bills include prevention and wellness incentives.
Cocaine use has long been tied anecdotally to higher-than-usual rates of impulsive behavior, including risky sex, but the tie-in has been difficult to study with any scientifically controlled rigor.
A new study has found that stress-related disorders are associated with an increased risk for multiple types of cardiovascular disease, including atherosclerosis (narrowing of the arteries).
