Lifeline Biotechnologies, Inc. today announced that it has completed the updating of the Company's information on Pinks Sheets.
The American Association for Cancer Research in partnership with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is now accepting applications for the 2011 research grants program. The program is administered using the AACR's rigorous peer-review system to ensure that the highest quality science is supported.
New peer-reviewed research published today in Drugs Education Prevention and Policy shows that e-cigarettes are not increasing the likelihood of tobacco consumption and may in fact be contributing to negative perceptions about smoking among young people.
Researchers from Boston Medical Center and Boston University School of Public Health have found that individuals who do not speak English at home are less likely to receive colorectal cancer screenings as compared to those who do speak English at home. The findings, which currently appear on-line in the Journal of General Internal Medicine, suggest that patient-provider language barriers play a role in health-care disparities, and that providers should promote the importance of CRC screening to non-English speaking patients.
