Aradigm Corporation today announced that it has received proceeds of approximately $891,000 from the exercise of all of the warrants to purchase an aggregate of 7,527,214 shares of the Company's common stock that were issued in the private placement that closed on June 21, 2010.
Kaiser Permanente has the top-ranked Medicare health plan in the nation, according to a joint ranking by U.S. News & World Report and the National Committee for Quality Assurance. "Bad immunisation strategy has been blamed for an outbreak of polio, which has killed nearly 200 and is believed to have caused paralysis in more than 2,000 others across Angola, Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo," the Mail & Guardian writes in a story examining the emergence of the disease in the three countries and efforts to control it.
