Google pays $500 million settlement in pharmacy ad probe

With the settlement, the Internet search engine will not face criminal prosecution related to accusations that it improperly benefited from ads promoting Canadian pharmacies that illegally imported medicines into the United States.

New analysis shows that 29% of clinical trial results remain unpublished

A new analysis of 585 large, randomized clinical trials registered with ClinicalTrials.gov finds that 29 percent have not been published in scientific journals. In addition, nearly 78 percent of the unpublished trials had no results available on the website, either.
