Union Dental Holdings reports 32% increase in second quarter 2010 revenue

Union Dental Holdings, Inc., a provider of multi-state dental services for union members, announced today its revenues for the quarter ending June 30, 2010. The revenues from operations as compared to the same period for 2009 increased 32 percent to $1,144,655 from $769,234. A study led by the University of Granada has linked the consumption of dairy products (milk, fresh cheese, yogurt or cottage cheese) during pregnancy with a lower risk of having a low birth weight newborn.

Antioxidant supplements beta carotene, vitamin A and E may increase risk of death

Contradicting claims of disease prevention, an analysis of previous studies indicates that the antioxidant supplements beta carotene, vitamin A, and vitamin E may increase the risk of death, according to a meta-analysis and review article in the February 28 issue of JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association.
