Hiroshima University researchers reveal molecular mechanisms involved in neuropathic pain

A research group from Hiroshima University demonstrated that the downregulation of spinal astrocyte connexin43 (Cx43) expression causes sustained neuropathic pain following peripheral nerve injury.
