Study to test efficacy of computerized cognitive training for improving memory of heart failure patients

The National Institutes of Health has awarded a $2.5 million grant to an IU School of Nursing researcher for a study that will examine whether computerized cognitive training exercises can improve memory and quality of life for heart failure patients.

Case Western Reserve awarded $14.7M to lead study on effects of lowering systolic blood pressure

Anesthesiology: An anesthesiologist is trained to provide pain relief and maintenance, or restoration, of a stable condition during and immediately following an operation or an obstetric or diagnostic procedure. The anesthesiologist assesses the risk of the patient undergoing surgery and optimizes the patient's condition prior to, during and after surgery.
