Nuvo Research, NovaMedica enter into agreement to market Pennsaid products in Russia

Nuvo Research Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company with a diverse portfolio of products in the areas of topical pain and immunology, and NovaMedica LLC, a Russian pharmaceutical company, today announced that they have signed a supply and distribution agreement providing NovaMedica the exclusive rights to market and sell Nuvo's Pennsaid 1.5% and Pennsaid 2% products in Russia and some of the Community of Independent States.

iPads for 500 doctors and nurses in Victoria

Doctors and nurses in Victoria will be given Apple iPads as part of a trial to improve internet access in Victorian hospitals. According to Health Minister Daniel Andrews' announcement yesterday, 500 iPads would be sent to graduate doctors and nurses in January and if the $500,000 pilot program goes well, the devices could be used more widely.

New radiotherapy treatment devised for treating women with metastatic ovarian cancer

In the future, women with metastatic ovarian cancer could be treated with a radioactive substance that can seek and destroy tumour cells.
