First patients in Germany treated with Delcath Hepatic CHEMOSAT Delivery System

Delcath Systems, Inc., announced today that the first patients in Germany have been treated with the Delcath Hepatic CHEMOSAT Delivery System at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Hospital, a premier European cancer treatment and research center located in Frankfurt. The cases were treated as part of the initial launch and training agreement the Company announced with the hospital in December 2011.

Edwards uses his hands after double hand transplant at Jewish Hospital Hand Care Center

Dr. Richard "Rich" Edwards got a look at his new hands for the first time today when all the bandages were removed so doctors could evaluate how the hands are doing. A team of surgeons from Kleinert Kutz and Associates and the University of Louisville performed a double hand transplant on the Oklahoma resident during a 17 ½ hour surgical procedure beginning August 24 at the Jewish Hospital Hand Care Center.
