Burn specialists at Massachusetts General Hospital announced today they have successfully used live-cell, genetically engineered pig skin (xenograft) for the temporary closure of a burn wound.
Research published in the latest issue of Health Affairs concluded that the performance data published on the Hospital Compare website did not result in fewer patient deaths.
As the national waistline expands, so do pools of intra-cellular fat known as lipid droplets.
