World Heart to sell nearly 1.5M shares of its common stock to raise $7.3M

World Heart Corporation, a developer of mechanical circulatory systems, announced today that it has obtained commitments from institutional and individual investors to purchase approximately $7.3 million of its common stock in a private placement. WorldHeart has entered into a securities purchase agreement with the investors pursuant to which WorldHeart will sell an aggregate of 1,418,726 shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase up to 2,837,452 additional shares of common stock.

Research reveals therapeutic benefit of ACTH in treatment of osteonecrosis
