Amarillo Biosciences, Inc. today announced that it has agreed to a strategic partnership with Intas Pharmaceuticals Limited (Intas), one of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies in India, whereby Intas will sponsor clinical trials of ABI's orally administered interferon-alpha lozenges in order to combat influenza. Intas will pay ABI a royalty on net sales after marketing approval is obtained in India.

Genta announces private placement of Convertible Notes for $25M

Genta Incorporated announced today that the Company has entered into definitive agreements with institutional investors for a private placement of Convertible Notes totaling $25 million in gross proceeds. The transaction is expected to close on or about March 10, 2010, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
