Janssen Research & Development, LLC announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted Priority Review for the New Drug Application (NDA) for YONDELIS (trabectedin) to treat patients with advanced soft tissue sarcoma (STS), including liposarcoma and leiomyosarcoma subtypes, who have received prior chemotherapy including an anthracycline.
Patients treated with targeted therapy for metastatic renal cell carcinoma may derive significant survival benefit from cytoreductive nephrectomy, particularly if their initial prognosis is good, study findings indicate.
Patients with chronic wounds who never receive opioids heal faster than those who do receive the drugs, according to a new study by George Washington University (GW) researcher Victoria Shanmugam, M.D.
