In an effort to improve treatment and one day find a cure for pancreatic cancer, the TGen Foundation today joined with key donors and community leaders to announce the creation of globalCure.
The risk of major arterial adverse events in chronic myeloid leukaemia patients may significantly differ between tyrosine kinase inhibitors, suggests a meta-analysis published in Leukemia & Lymphoma.

A recent tour-de-force study by researchers from the United Kingdom reveals variants of the human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) that can improve or decrease binding of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) – including two variants with distinct population distributions showing an enhanced affinity for viral spike glycoprotein.
Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals today announced that XARELTO (rivaroxaban), a novel anti-clotting therapy, achieved improvement in net clinical benefit in a study looking at treatment of patients with deep vein thrombosis. DVT is the formation of a blood clot in a deep vein, usually in the legs, that partially or totally blocks the flow of blood.
