Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc. today announced that it has agreed to sell shares of its common stock having an aggregate offering price of $33.3 million pursuant to a terms agreement entered into under the equity distribution agreement, dated June 12, 2009, between the Company and BofA Merrill Lynch in connection with the company's previously reported $100 million Equity Shelf Program.
The Global Genes Project, a non-profit advocacy organization that aims to raise awareness about the prevalence of rare diseases worldwide, today launched the 7,000 Bracelets for Hope campaign. The 7,000 Bracelets for Hope campaign is designed to draw attention to an estimated 7,000 different chronic, life-threatening and fatal rare diseases and disorders affecting approximately 30 million Americans and millions more globally.

The system, known as PAViS, could be used remotely by healthcare workers to view sleep profiles and analyse sleep patterns based on sensory data gathered at the patient's home.
