ViroPharma Incorporated today announced that the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has accepted the filing of its Marketing Authorization Application for Cinryze for acute treatment and prophylaxis against hereditary angioedema, which was submitted through the centralized procedure in March 2010. ViroPharma is seeking European approval for both prevention and treatment of acute attacks of hereditary angioedema.
Drug company Pfizer has announced it has submitted a New Drug Application (NDA) for its cancer drug Sutent, to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
"Sarcasm is something that we don't 'get' until a certain point in our childhood stage of development, late in our primary years," she notes. "It's a learned thing, and takes time to develop."
The Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®) has designated Ingenix CareTracker™ version 7 a CCHIT Certified® 2011 Ambulatory EHR.
