International Isotopes Inc. announces completion of a private placement on October 29, 2010 that will immediately provide the company with approximately $5.8 million in cash to continue its efforts on the licensing and design of its planned environmentally friendly, green technology uranium de-conversion and fluorine extraction processing facility.

In the search for medication against Alzheimer's disease, scientists have focused - among other factors - on drugs that can break down Amyloid beta (A-beta). New research involving mice, published in the April 2016 issue of The FASEB Journal, suggests that maternal obesity and poor nutrition during pregnancy affects the egg reserves of female offspring. This discovery improves scientific understanding of the long-term, generational, effects of obesity and poor nutrition. This understanding is the first step toward devising interventions to protect the fertility of females who experienced very difficult womb environments.
