Scientists from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center have developed an algorithm that functions like a Rosetta Stone to help decipher how the immune system recognizes and binds antigens.
Marken announced today that they won the pharmaceutical clinical research industry award of Best Life Science Logistics Provider at the 5th Annual BioPharma Asia Industry Awards. The award was announced at a dinner and ceremony held in conjunction with the BioPharma Asia conference in Singapore, drawing an annual attendance of 1600.
Helsinn, a Swiss-based pharmaceutical company, announced today that its US subsidiary, Helsinn Therapeutics, has enrolled the first patient in the company's pivotal Phase III clinical program of anamorelin HCl for the treatment of anorexia/cachexia in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
A noninvasive PET imaging method that measures granzyme B, a protein released by immune cells to kill cancer cells, was able to distinguish mouse and human tumors that responded to immune checkpoint inhibitors from those that did not respond early in the course of treatment.
