BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. announced today that it has entered into a new lease with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: REGN) for approximately 131,000 square feet of additional, newly-constructed laboratory and office space at The Landmark at Eastview campus in Tarrytown, New York.
Radiological health expert Daniel Hayes, Ph.D., of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene suggests that a form of vitamin D could be one of our body's main protections against damage from low levels of radiation.
The study of 1,821 patients from Olmsted County, Minn., who had heart attacks between 1982 and 1998 and survived to go home from the hospital, found that nearly half (48 percent) of the deaths within three years of hospital discharge were attributable to not participating in cardiac rehabilitation.
