Bristol-Myers Squibb Company announced today the successful completion of the tender offer by Bristol-Myers Squibb Company for all of the outstanding shares of common stock of Inhibitex, Inc. at a purchase price of $26.00 per share.
Anticholinergic medications, a class of drugs very commonly used by older adults, are linked to an increased rate of emergency department and hospital utilization in the United States, according to an Indiana University Center for Aging Research, Indiana University Center for Health Innovation and Implementation Science, and Regenstrief Institute study of community-dwelling Americans age 65 and older.
Scientists from the Michigan State University, USA, have conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to compare mortality rate in coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients who are aspirin users or non-users. The Findings reveal that the use of aspirin is associated with a significant reduction in overall and in-hospital mortality rates.
Physicians from Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences in Krems (Austria) demonstrate potential for clinical application, collaborating with research groups from Germany, the USA, and China.
