A comprehensive review of evidence-informed health policymaking was recently launched in BioMed Central's journal Health Research Policy and Systems. This free supplement, entitled 'SUPPORT tools for evidence-informed health policymaking' provides an essential reference and set of tools that can be used by those involved in finding and using research evidence to support evidence-informed health policymaking.
A new study from American researchers shows that if dreams can be manipulated, memory could be enhanced and consolidated. The team tried a process called "dream incubation" using a device called Dormio in subjects for their study and published their novel findings.
Vertellus Specialties Inc. announced today that it will break ground on a new 3-cyanopyridine production unit at Vertellus' production facility in Nantong, Jiangsu, China. This unit is a continuation of a larger effort to expand production capacity in Nantong. It will increase Vertellus' Vitamin B3 manufacturing capacity in the region by 10,000 metric tons. The capacity increase will enable Vertellus to maintain its position as the world's second largest provider of Vitamin B3 and the largest producer of cyanopyridines in the world.
