Two high-tech health researchers at the University of Massachusetts Amherst have received a $1.15 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to develop a wireless device, worn like a necklace, that aims to transform the understanding and treatment of schizophrenia.
Dr. Carolle Jean-Murat, a San Diego based OB-Gyn surgeon and intuitive healer is returning July 1st to Haiti, the land of her birth, to continue assisting in the humanitarian effort for that devastated country. She has assisted in coordinating a team of 50 doctors, dentists and other emergency medical professionals to accompany her to provide much needed services to the people of Haiti.
A study conducted by a team of researchers from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) has found that Singaporeans, who scored high levels of empathy, would choose to prioritize the environment over the convenience and comfort of both themselves and their families or co-workers.
