Parion Sciences today announced it has received a $3 million award from Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics to support the development of P-1037, Parion's new investigational treatment for cystic fibrosis (CF).
Lead VITALE investigator Dr Marie Courbebaisse (Paris, France), commented, Our study shows that currently recommended doses of vitamin D are not sufficient to protect patients from the risk of fracture after kidney transplantation.
A combination of increased excise taxes, nationwide indoor smoking bans, and other measures would significantly lower the U.S. smoking rate, which now hovers at around 21 percent of the adult population, says a new report from the Institute of Medicine.
The Affordable Care Act's botched rollout has stunned its media cheering section, and it even seems to have surprised the law's architects.
