Two Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center experts were invited to present new insights on treatment of gastroesophageal cancers during the European Society for Medical Oncology World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer 2021.
When cancer progresses and spreads to the bone, patients often suffer debilitating pain. Now, a new phase III clinical trial shows that non-invasive magnetic resonance guided focused ultrasound treatment that heats the cancer within the bone, relieves pain and improves function for most patients when other treatment options are limited.
Contrary to the hypothesis of two Purdue University researchers just published in the International Journal of Obesity, several studies have shown that the use of aspartame in foods and beverages can help with weight loss and long-term control of body weight and does not increase hunger or food intake in children or adults.
