Intelligent Hospital Systems, maker of the RIVA fully-automated IV compounding system, today announced a distribution agreement with Tel Aviv-based Nevo Medical Ltd. The healthcare and medical equipment supplier will serve as IH Systems' exclusive distributor in Israel and the Palestine Authority, further increasing the reach of RIVA systems globally.
Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), through its Singapore subsidiary, today completed the acquisition of the oligonucleotide manufacturing business of GeneWorks Pty Ltd. (GeneWorks) in Australia. This acquisition sees IDT expand its reach in the Asia-Pacific region, following its recent establishment of sales offices in Japan and Korea.
An Amercian study has shown sexual activity has been hypothesized to play a role in the development of prostate cancer, but epidemiological data are virtually limited to case-control studies, which may be prone to bias because recall among individuals with prostate cancer could be distorted as a consequence of prostate malignancy or ongoing therapy.
