Food prices in developing nations continue to be "stubbornly high ... despite a strong cereal harvest this year, and 31 countries need emergency aid," the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) said in its "Crop Prospects and Food Situation" report released Tuesday ahead of next week's Rome World Summit on Food Security, Agence France-Presse reports.
Today, during the 89th General Session & Exhibition of the International Association for Dental Research, held in conjunction with the 40th Annual Meeting of the American Association for Dental Research and the 35th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Association for Dental Research, lead researcher T. Nguyen will hold an oral presentation on a study titled "Mandibular Changes Produced by Skeletal Anchorage Assisted Orthopedic Traction."

Speaking to a group of journalists in New York, Sidibe "said 'it is unacceptable' that 85 countries still have laws criminalizing same sex relations among adults, including seven that impose the death penalty for homosexual practices," the news service writes.
