A pan-Canadian initiative was announced today that will ultimately have a major impact on patient safety by reducing preventable medication errors.
Green Cross, a South Korean biopharmaceutical company, and Nanolek, a Russian pharmaceutical company, today announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership agreement for the commercialisation of Green Cross' biologics in the Russian market.
The Chairman of the Health Protection Agency, Sir William Stewart, has announced that the Agency's Board is consulting stakeholders on its proposals to update advice on solid radioactive waste disposal.
Nonpowder guns - ball-bearing (BB) guns, pellet guns, air rifles, and paintball guns - are extremely powerful and continue to cause serious injury, disability and even death to children and adolescents, according to a new American Academy of Pediatrics technical report "Injury Risk of Nonpowder Guns."
A study released today by Thomson Reuters found that Catholic and other church-owned health systems demonstrated significantly better, more efficient care than for-profit health systems.
