Young female cancer survivors are concerned about their future fertility and parenthood options and want better information and guidance early on, according to a new study by Jessica Gorman and her team from the University of California in the US.
Typically, when level sensors are autoclaved for sterilization, the sensor housings are disassembled prior to the autoclave process, so they do not get ruined in the process. The removal of those items is time consuming and frequently not easy.
Nearly 9 percent of bariatric surgical patients-or about one in 12-who did not take opioid pain medications until their weight-loss operation, or the month before it, report that they are still using prescription opioids one year postoperatively, according to new research findings.
With outbreaks of cold and flu on the rise across the U.S., Americans are facing a seemingly impossible task of helping their families stay healthy this winter. As of last week, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that 47 states have declared the incidence of flu to be regional or widespread in their communities and nearly 10,000 cases of H1N1 have been documented.
