Australian-based global oncology company, Sirtex Medical Limited (ASX: SRX), has announced the completion of patient recruitment for its global SIRFLOX clinical study which is aimed at expanding the clinical use of its SIR-spheres® microspheres targeted radiation therapy from a last line medical treatment to a standard first-line oncology therapy.
Just three types of simple self-reported health measures can predict which Medicaid-eligible adults are more likely to access intensive and costly health services over the next year, a new study in Health Services Research suggests. The findings could provide a new way to save a substantial amount of money while also providing better care for Medicaid's neediest patients.

Hovnanian Children's Hospital at Jersey Shore is expanding its surgical services with the opening of Meridian Health Pediatric Surgical Associates in Ocean County, an outpatient center dedicated to providing the region's children with a comprehensive, child-friendly and family-oriented surgical program.
