According to the latest report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institute of Health's National Cancer Institute (NCI), released yesterday (8th November 2018), cigarette smoking is at its lowest in the United States since 1965.
With a new $50,000 award from the National Eating Disorders Association, a research team at the University of Kansas is developing a smartphone app for clinical use with patients receiving treatment for an eating disorder - the deadliest of all mental disorders.
The study, published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, also revealed that 88 pharmacist interventions reduced the length of patient stays in hospital and 156 interventions reduced the potential for the patient to be readmitted to hospital.
