A review of the past ten years of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedures at the Mayo Clinic revealed equivalent outcomes between frozen and fresh sperm for oocyte insemination, according to a new study unveiled today at the AUA's Annual Scientific Meeting.
The deficit panel will have three months to recommend $1.5 trillion in deficit reductions over the next 10 years, with Medicare and Medicaid part of the mix. Republicans reacted by saying the picks were political moves and offered little hope of overcoming the continuing partisan stalemate.
PGS, Preimplantation Genetic Screening, is a genetic test that analyses biopsied cells from embryos produced by in vitro fertilization (IVF) techniques. PGS determines whether the embryos are chromosomally normal (euploid) or not (aneuploid), thus giving the chance to transfer chromosomally normal embryos that are more apt to successfully implant and develop into a pregnancy.
