Researchers at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill have identified a type of vaginal bacteria within the mucus of the female reproductive system that can protect women from HIV as well as other sexually transmitted infections.

Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted fast track designation for carfilzomib, a next generation proteasome inhibitor for the potential treatment of patients with relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma.
A new study, published in Annals of Internal Medicine, highlights the need for increased awareness of mental health disorders among adults with cerebral palsy.
