IGI Laboratories, Inc., a New Jersey based specialty generic pharmaceutical company, today announced it has acquired the regulatory rights and related documents and records for 18 drug products from AstraZeneca, 17 of which were marketed.
Researchers based in Beijing and Shenzhen, China, report that they have identified mutations in the spike protein of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) that may allow variant strains to avoid neutralization by monoclonal antibodies and convalescent blood plasma.
Most patients with hereditary angioedema (HAE) have prodromal symptoms that signal an oncoming HAE attack giving the patients sufficient time to initiate treatment and decrease the morbidity associated with that attack, according to survey findings presented today at the 2009 American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI) Annual Meeting.
Covidien plc today reported results for the second quarter of fiscal 2010 (January - March 2010).
