Columbia University Medical Center announced plans today to build a new home for the Columbia University School of Nursing, one of the oldest nursing schools in the nation. The seven-story building will be located on existing Columbia property at the corner of W. 168th Street and Audubon Avenue, at the east end of the CUMC campus. Construction is expected to begin in late 2014.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today approved Imlygic (talimogene laherparepvec), the first FDA-approved oncolytic virus therapy, for the treatment of melanoma lesions in the skin and lymph nodes.
