Astellas reported today that the efficacy and safety data of the isavuconazole invasive aspergillosis study (SECURE) were presented at the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) in Barcelona, Spain.
Today, about one in four European children suffer from allergy, which makes this disease the non-infectious epidemic of the 21st century. Evidence suggests that lifestyle factors and nutritional patterns, such as breastfeeding, help to reduce the early symptoms of allergy.
Alltech and Ridley Inc. announced today that they have entered into a plan of arrangement agreement under which Alltech will acquire 100 percent of the outstanding stock of Ridley, one of the leading commercial animal nutrition companies in North America, for CAD $40.75 per share.
