A group of researchers from Maccabi Healthcare Services performed a retrospective cohort study to determine vaccine effectiveness of a third dose.
According to new guidelines CDC officials made public on Thursday, people born in either Asia or Africa who currently live in the U.S. should be tested for hepatitis B, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Low levels of vitamin D are commonly found in people with type 1 diabetes. But even children who have multiple positive islet autoantibodies without manifest type 1 diabetes have lower levels of vitamin D in their blood.
Colorectal cancer is one of the major causes of cancer death in the developed countries. Accumulated evidences indicate that lipid metabolism, especially the one in the arachidonic acid -pathway, appears to play a critical role in the development of CRC.
