The George Washington University will celebrate the first anniversary of its School of Nursing by hosting a panel on the future of nursing, followed by a reception with remarks from Virginia Secretary of Health and Human Resources, Dr. William A. Hazel, Jr. and Executive Director of the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Dr. Karen Drenkard.
Not all melanomas are created equal. While most melanomas appear on the skin as the result of sun exposure, a small subset of melanomas arise spontaneously from mucosal tissues.
A study in the American Journal of Critical Care found a remarkably high prevalence of delirium in a small cohort of critically ill patients treated with therapeutic hypothermia after cardiac arrest.
