A new British Journal of Dermatology study explores the relationship between seasonality and hair loss at a population level using Google Trends data. Across all eight countries analyzed in the study, summer and fall were associated with greater hair loss.
In a recently published article, researchers from Novozymes Biopharma (Nottingham, UK) and Malvern Panalytical (Malvern Panalytical, UK) describe collaborative work using light scattering techniques to demonstrate the short- and long-term stability of the novel recombinant human albumins Albucult® and Recombumin®.
An Indiana University cancer researcher and his colleagues have discovered new therapeutic targets and drugs that may someday benefit people with certain types of leukemia or blood cancer.
There is strong evidence that expanding health insurance increases access to care, improves health in a variety of ways, and reduces mortality, according to Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health researchers who analyzed a decade's worth of evidence on the effects of insurance coverage on health.
