Polymer Technology Systems, Inc. (PTS, Inc.), the U.S.-based manufacturer of point-of-care diagnostic products, announced today that it is changing its name to Chek Diagnostics.
The omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) found in seafood and marine oils called EPA and DHA may offer a simple, affordable way to reduce the effects of traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries by decreasing inflammation and nerve cell damage.
None of the 41 most common high blood pressure medications increased the risk of depression, while nine medications appeared to lower it, according to a study from Denmark, published today in Hypertension, an American Heart Association journal.
