A dentist's drill might not be the best way to tackle tooth decay in children's teeth, a new study has concluded.
New research from the University of Liverpool, published in the journal Brain, has highlighted the potential reasons why many patients with severe epilepsy still continue to experience seizures even after surgery.
Researchers want to help the Army better camouflage its soldiers and break the enemy's efforts to hide. "We want to make our camouflage unbreakable and we want to break the camouflage of the enemy," said Dr. Jay Hegde, neuroscientist in the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Health Sciences University.
Global campaigns to eliminate two tropical parasitic worm infections have been hindered by a lack of good diagnostic tools.
Expanding the use of recycled water would reduce water and energy use, cut greenhouse gas emissions and benefit public health in California - which is in the midst of a severe drought - and around the world.
