Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals, Inc., an affiliate of Ipsen today announced the implementation of IPSEN CARESTM (Coverage, Access, Reimbursement, & Education Support).
In the study, all-cause and CVD mortality risks were found to be significantly higher among study participants that didn't exercise compared with active participants at all blood pressure levels. Moreover, the excess mortality risks of physical inactivity, when converted into a "blood pressure equivalence of physical activity" measurement, revealed that physical inactivity was similar to a rise in mortality risk equivalent to an increase in blood pressure of 40-50 mmHg.
The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) awarded on January 20th the first $61 million in grants for cancer research projects at academic institutions and private companies throughout Texas. These are the inaugural grants of the $3 billion to be invested in cancer research in Texas over the next ten years.
The use of performance enhancing drugs is prevalent and unmonitored in junior elite athletes as young as 12, according to research by Griffith University and the University of Canberra that will be presented tomorrow.
