CDC lab testing identifies deadly bacteria in an aromatherapy spray

Laboratory testing at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has identified the bacteria Burkholderia pseudomallei in an aromatherapy spray -; the same type of bacteria that sickened four people in the United States earlier this year.

New study shows cannabinoid cannabidiol can help heal bone fractures

Cannabis - marijuana, hashish - was used as a go-to medical remedy by societies around the world for centuries. But the therapeutic use of marijuana was banned in most countries in the 1930s and '40s due to a growing awareness of the dangers of addiction. The significant medical benefits of marijuana in alleviating symptoms of such diseases as Parkinson's, cancer, and multiple sclerosis have only recently been reinvestigated.

Study: Children bullied by siblings and friends are more likely to harm themselves

Depression, self-harm and suicidal ideation are more prominent in adults in their early twenties if they were bullied at home and at school, a study by researchers at the University of Warwick have found. Researchers stress that intervention is needed to educate people in bullying to reduce it.
