Agilent and CambTEK partner to co-market RES automated sample preparation technology

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE:A) and CambTEK, Ltd. today announced an agreement to co-market CambTEK's Rapid Extraction System (RES) automated sample preparation technology with an assortment of Agilent's liquid phase separation, life science and chemical analysis instruments and software.

Circuit awarded contract to pursue optogenetic therapies for peripheral nervous system indications

Circuit Therapeutics today announced that it has been awarded a 2.7 million dollar contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to pursue optogenetic therapies for peripheral nervous system indications. The award, part of DARPA's Electrical Prescriptions (ElectRX) program, will enable Circuit to pursue research and development projects related to its treatment for neuropathic pain.

TSRI scientists awarded two grants to develop new therapeutic target to reduce latent HIV infection

Jennerex, Inc., a private clinical-stage biotherapeutics company focused on the development and commercialization of first-in-class targeted oncolytic products for cancer, and Transgene, a bio-pharmaceutical company specialized in the development of immunotherapeutic products, today announced that enrollment and treatment of patients in a Phase 1b clinical trial has been initiated to evaluate JX-594 in patients with advanced metastatic, refractory colorectal cancer (CRC).
